BHAAGAM TO BHAASHA

Bhaagam ,paalu = a share , a portion
bhaagyam = riches , wealth ,fortune ..,bhaagyavanthudu = a rich man , a man of a large fortune
Bhaagavatham = this is the title of a sanskrit book ,translated into telugu padhyams ,containing a history of lord srikrishna ..out of this book various religious events are extracted ,which are framed into the subjects of so many theatrical representations. the goldsmiths and brahmins and jangam people act these plays .they are performed with dancing ,recitative songs and music and are the favourite amusement of all ranks of people in india .. they are acted only by men ,unless where dancing women can be got ,sufficiently instructed..
Bhaagavathudu = a performer of plays ..,bhaagavathula melam = a set of theatrical performers..
Bhaagahaaram = subtraction in arithmetic
Baata ,dhaari = a road ..,baatasaari = a traveller
Bhaadhrapadham = one of the thelugu months ,nearly answering to september
Bhaarya ,pellamu ,arthaangi = a wife ,better half..
Bhaaree varsham = heavy rain..
Baavi = a well
Bhaavam = meaning
Bhaavitharam = future generation
Bhaasha = language..,kamsaala bhaasha = the goldsmith's speech .., komati bhaasha = the banian's speech
