DAKKADAM TO DABBAPANDU

Dakkadam = to secure ,to appropriate to one's ues , to save
Dagaa = deceit ,trick ,dishonesty ,chicanery
Daggara = near , with
daggu = a cough
dattam = thickness
dathatha = an adoption
Daththudu = one adopted
Daddarilladam = to feel alarmed ,to startle ,to be confounded
Danchadam = to pound or bruise ,to beat
Danta , janta = a pair , couple ,twins
Danda = a garland .., danda cheyyi = the round part of the arm
Dandana = punishment ,chastisement
Dandam = a salutation
Dandinchadam = to chastise
Dandu = a camp , a force
Danduga = a fine , forfeiture , seizure
Dantham = a tooth ..,danthapu noppi = toothache
Dafaa = a time , an interval
Dabbanam = a packing needle
Dabbapandu = the fruit usually called the dabbakaya ..it is about double the size ofa large orange and sour to the taste .the indians make pickle of it . ..dabbakaya is the name of it when it is unripe.
